1. Lose The Brush
If it’s showstopping curls you’re after, then throw away your brushes and start combing your hair with your fingers instead. This allows you to gently work through knots and kinks, rather than tugging at them and damaging your hair shaft. It will protect the natural shape of your curls and avoid losing definition.

5. Style Without Heat
To keep slaying those jaw-droppingly defined curls, the Curly Girl Method suggests that hair should be left to dry naturally. If you do choose to blow dry your hair, always apply a heat protection spray, then use a diffuser on a low heat.
